From early on, I was fascinated
with the idea of being responsible
for the realization and the
construction of a piece of music.

Curious to think of material
that delivers a framework for
spontaneous interaction, my
research on the known
(aka composition) and
unknown (aka improvisation)
and their relationships
continues to this day.

As a trumpeter, I'm attracted to both
standard and extended techniques.
Expression knows many colors.

The goal is to reach out for a balance
between the elements at hand, in order
to create something that is exciting,
unique and stimulating for the listener.
